Gordana Collier

Gordana Collier is the Head of School of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics at Oxford Brookes University.

She is an experienced academic manager who is strategic, adaptable and future oriented on behalf of students and staff, with a proven track record of strategic leadership in teaching with industry engagement. Gordana brings a collaborative, capable of ‘connecting people’, placing considerable emphasis on partnership work with a style that fosters collegiate environments.

Alongside her management role within the university, she is the Principal Academic Adviser for the most successful UK Formula Student Racing Team, Oxford Brookes Racing.

Gordana volunteers her time to IET Academic Accreditation Committees and Horizon Bursary panel member. She is passionate about the quality of academic delivery and student extra-curricular enrichment with high expectations of herself and others. Gordana's long-standing academic accreditations service to the IET enhances her knowledge and understanding of academic standards in engineering education.

She is also a busy mother, talent spotter and saucer spinner who makes an excellent cup of coffee!
